I've never watched one episode of Lost. Would you say it's sort of a modern-style 'Prisoner'? Following your posts, that's kind of what I'm getting out of the whole thing.

Yeha, Lost is the same as being excited for the Hills. It's just the dude/mannish woman equivilant.
