Seriously odd. He barely spoke, chewed gum the whole time, got snippy with Paul, and stuck his gum on Dave's desk once Letterman made a joke about it...but man, Dave is perfect in these conditions!
I would have been disappointed had he been normal! I was totally staying up for the freakshow (but alas I fell asleep 'cuz I'm old, so thanks for posting the clip)

Yea... do you think Phoenix was on drugs? That *was* weird. I'm a little worried for the guy.
