"LOST" IS ADDING SOME AMAZING ACTORS!!!
To make sure it's the finest show on network television...ever!!!
Jeremy Davies!!!
Jeremy impressed me in Saving Private Ryan, Solaris, and just recently Rescue Dawn. I cannot wait to see who he plays on an island already filled with interesting and unique characters.
Lance Reddick!!!
Best known from his roles on The Wire and Oz, Lance is a fierce actor who can carry entire scenes with his eyes alone.
Ken Leung!!!
Ken was in the sub-par X-Men III, but also brilliantly played the role of Uncle Junior's nuthouse friend during The Sopranos final season.
Jeff Fahey!!!
Beisdes being in The Lawnmower Man, Jeff recently turned in an interesting role in Grindhouse. Let's hope he keeps the awesome beard!
Man, look at those fantastic actors that are going to be joining an already fantastic cast! Is it February yet?!

HOW MANY GAY REPUBLICANS ARE THERE IN OUR CONGRESS?!
...and why must they continue to live these secret, hidden lives where on one hand they're married with children and voting against things like "gay marriage" or "civil unions" that would simply give homosexual couples the rights as every other American.
Then, on the other hand, they're trying to solicit gay sex in airport bathrooms.
Look, I'm sure there are closeted Democratic Senators as well...but lately, it's all been these "Family Values!, Adam & Eve, not Adam and Steve!" crazy conservative assholes who want to tell us they are so moral and absolute and if we'd only live more like them, this country would be better off, who seem to get caught in bizarre sex acts. Why is that?

THIS IS WHY I LOVE YOUTUBE...
Like fuck I'd actually watch the Miss Teen USA competition...but luckily plenty of people did and uploaded this awesome gem of what happens when these girls try and answer "serious" questions:
God, that was just beautiful.
In case you're wondering what the other girls were asked (they only got lamer) feel free to waste 10 minutes of your life here:

NEW TRAILER FOR "NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN!"
This movie is high on my list for "must see" this year. I love the Coen Brothers anyway, but reeeeeeeeeeeeeally love the dark, serious, violent Coen Brothers more than the wacky Tom Hanks, George Clooney goofyfests they've been putting out lately. Enter NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN. Click here for the link to the official website where you can now view the red band trailer...if you're old enough...and tough enough.

ALL ABOARD THE TRAIN TO CRAZYTOWN!!! (UPDATE)
Fred Thompson, (who STILL hasn't officially announced he's running...maybe because he only managed to raise $3 Million dollars?! I think Dennis Kucinich could pull in that tiny amount doing a striptease on the steps of Congress) has finally opened up his big mouth and told us what he wants to do when-if he's our next President...and man does it sound AWESOME!!!
DES MOINES, Iowa (CNN) – Likely Republican White House hopeful Fred Thompson told CNN Friday that he would push for a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage and would work to overturn Roe v. Wade if elected president.
“I don’t think that one state ought to be able to pass a law requiring gay marriage or allowing gay marriage and have another state be required to follow along,” Thompson told CNN’s John King in an interview Friday.
Thompson added that the U.S. Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion “was bad law and bad medicine.”
All he needed to add was, "Kick out the Mexicans!" and he'd be all set! I guess he needs to save something for when he officially enters the race.
**UPDATE**
I just checked my email and received this:
Hey, this is Jon Henke. I'm working with Fred Thompson, and saw your post referencing CNN's report on the gay marriage question.
I'm afraid CNN has mischaracterized Thompson's comment. They've since changed their article.
For the record, the Thompson camp has officially noted that "Fred Thompson does not support a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage." He supports the rights of States to choose their marriage law for themselves.
The Thompson camp just issued this statement:
In an interview with CNN today, former Senator Fred Thompson’s position on constitutional amendments concerning gay marriage was unclear.
Thompson believes that states should be able to adopt their own laws on marriage consistent with the views of their citizens.
He does not believe that one state should be able to impose its marriage laws on other states, or that activist judges should construe the constitution to require that.
If necessary, he would support a constitutional amendment prohibiting states from imposing their laws on marriage on other states.
Fred Thompson does not support a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage.

LET ME APOLOGIZE...
To the handful of people who keep checking this blog hoping to actually see some damn updates on a somewhat regular basis. Back in the day, I'd toss up two, maybe three posts a day...now it's barely two or three a week. I think it's because it's August and it's hot outside, and because I'm just insanely lazy.
Here's a nice lil' video for you though...

THERE'S A SPECIAL PLACE IN HELL FOR DICK CHENEY
...and no, I'm not kidding. Look at this interview from 1994 where he basically makes every single arguement the PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T WANT TO INVADE IRAQ were trying to make before the war began. The same people Cheney and others in this Administration bullied and made to feel as if we didn't love our country because we didn't want to get thousands of American soldiers killed for years on end.
There is no way to spin this. Some douchebag was on The Daily Show tonight (who wrote a biography about Cheney...bet THAT'S and awesome read) tried to use the old favorite, "Well that was before 9/11."
Um, excuse me, but what does 9/11 have to do with Iraq being unstable and trying to invade Baghdad would create a quagmire?!
These fuckers have played war for their own benefit. They knew the costs were high and lied directly to our faces. Shame on anyone who not only allowed this war to happen, but those that have not yet brought it to an end.

MORE ON TILLMAN...
I know, but the news keeps pouring in. ESPN (of all media outlets) has been doing an amazing series of investigations and recently reported on the "scapegoat," (the retired general who is going to be censured) and how he hasn't even received any notice. He learned about it from SEEING THE TV NEWS!!!
Then, there's this juicy nugget from Bush's last press conference (before heading off for another ENTIRE FUCKING MONTH OF VACATION!!!!) This sums up what is wrong with how this Administration has dealt with the entire Pat Tillman ordeal:

NO, I WON'T STOP TALKING ABOUT THIS...
PAT TILLMAN.
New documents released to the media through the Freedom of Information Act, reveals that he was shot 3 times in the forehead from a mere 10 yards away.
No investigation was ever ordered...they continued to lie about his death for six more weeks...and just last week they censured a RETIRED General.
No, this isn't over. It's only beginning.
